With Beauce as the 'cellar of France', the Orléans valley as the 'cradle of horticulture' and Sologne, a genuine paradise for hunting and fishing enthusiasts, Loiret abounds with the fresh fish, game, fruit, vegetables and cereals that combine to offer its renowned specialities.

All of this fine produce can be found in Loiret's 123 markets, held every week on weekdays or weekends, in the towns and villages throughout the department.
