Descriptive

At the edge of Loiret and the Valley of Essonne, this pretty, private château merits a detour. Greatly restored in the 19th century, it was built on the ruins of an ancient fortified château in 1492, by Hector de Boissy, baker of Charles VIII. From the outside, the only part accessible to visitors, visitors can discover the orangery (18th century), a small chapel perched on a rock, a beautiful dovecote and the great chapel, which is open to visitors.

Did you know ? La petite chapelle a été édifiée en 1890 par Elie d’Aboville en reconnaissance de son succès à l’examen d’entrée à Polytechnique !
