Vignoble du Chant d'Oiseaux
MAREAU-AUX-PRES
Descriptive
The vineyard of Chant d'Oiseaux is a vineyard of 16 ha located on the AOC Orléans and Orléans-Cléry. The winemaker, Edourd Montigny, was born into a family of grape growers and, after his studies in viticulture and oenology, he pursued only one goal: to produce his own wine. In 2006, he took over the vineyard of the Chant d'Oiseaux in Mareau-aux-Prés. Also in 2006, it was the creation of the AOC Orléans and Orléans-Cléry. On the silks of the left bank of the Loire, southwest of Orleans, it produces red, white and rosé wines from several grape varieties. It welcomes you on its Domain to make you taste its different cuvées highlighting the respect of the vine and the soils, as well as the quality and specificity of the two appellations.
