Maurice Genevoix

1890 - 1980

Novelist Genevoix - elected perpetual secretary of the Académie Française - was deeply inspired by the natural world, and left behind him a work distinguished by the precision of its writing which drew lyrical scenes from Sologne, the Loire and the surrounding area.
