Cotignac d'Orléans

At the time of Louis XV, this sweetmeat already had devoted fans (it’s said that the king’s daughters were crazy about it). A soft paste made from quince jelly, Cotignac is cast in a mould made from spruce bark which bears the image of Joan of Arc on its cover.
