Giennois wines

On the Nivernais bank of the Loire, the Coteaux du Giennois vineyards spread along the banks of the river as far as the southern boundary of the département. Light and fruity, these wines (recently given A.O.C. status) make a subtle accompaniment to a local goat’s cheese or a flavourful Jargeau andouille – combinations which reveal the full extent of their character.
